We all go through seasons. Each seasons brings new joys and new challenges, but it all has lead you to where you are and who you are. I am here for the joy, the love and capturing the season you are in. Whether it is a first time mother holding her newborn, or a couple saying I do, or a senior throwing their cap in the air, a toddler smashing a cake or a first snow... I am here for all of that. These days will pass so quickly and these seasons sometimes may seem long and all consuming but they are the best seasons and worth capturing.

For all of my sessions I use natural light and minimal props. For me lighting is a huge part of session planning.
For outdoor sessions I prefer shooting one to two hours before sunset or at sunrise. For in home sessions or studio sessions I prefer mornings and early afternoons. Your session will last thirty minutes to three hours depending on the type of session you are having.
Capturing light, love and laughter in the most relaxing and fun way possible is my goal.

Senior sessions are some of my favorites! They can be scheduled anytime from the summer before senior year through graduation, giving plenty of flexibility to capture this milestone in the way that fits your student best.

With every mom to be scheduling will vary. It all depends on when you are showing a good bit. Typically 28-33 weeks is a good time to schedule your portrait session. I offer outdoor and in home maternity sessions.

Newborn sessions should be booked early. I only take a few newborn sessions a month. I offer lifestyle and posed or both. Posed I like to photograph in the first 10 days. I will work with you one on one to make sure we capture this milestone how you envision. Posed is a lot different from lifestyle.

Milestone sessions are commonly done at three months, six months, and one year, but they aren’t just for little ones. Milestones come in all forms — from turning two, to preschool graduation, to high school graduation, birthdays, and meaningful seasons of life.
These sessions are about honoring growth, change, and the moments that matter most. No matter the stage, I’m here to help you capture and preserve these memories so they can be cherished for years to come.

Sessions can take place anywhere from immediately following a proposal to just a few days before the wedding. I have found that there isn’t a “good” or “bad” time to take your photos.

Frequently Asked Questions
I always ask you to think about your style, your home and the vibe you want your session to be. Location is a huge factor in choosing outfits as well. I assist clients with clothing, make style boards and even send you links to options if you want my help. I have a platform I use to help create everything and it is such a huge help. Ultimately though I want you to feel confidant and comfortable in what you are wearing.
You will get a proof gallery within a week. Once you choose your images I strive to get your final gallery to you within two weeks. During busy season/summer it is three weeks. All of my fall sessions I strive to have them completed by Thanksgiving so you can order your holiday cards in time.
Events and Weddings please allow 4-6 weeks given the number of Images.
The number of images that are in your final gallery will depend on what collection you choose. For weddings and events these come with all the edited images.
Yes! I have a contract with a professional lab that I love and have worked with for over 10 years. They offer prints, canvas, metal prints, greeting cards. You name it they have it and so do I. Once your session Is complete I will send you a list of everything I offer. I also offer complimentary album design.
You do not, but I recommend one for a few reasons. One it gives me a chance to get to know you a little better before the wedding. Two...you will have photos to use for save the dates and anything else you may need for the wedding.
If we have a session scheduled December through May and weather is an issue, someone is sick or needs to be rescheduled for any other reason we will pick a new date that works best for all of us. If it is a beach session...I always book with each client a rain date when booking. So beach session clients already have two dates. Fall Mini Session and Mommy and Me Spring Mini's are a little trickier, but if those are rained out or weather is an issue we will reschedule on a date that works for you, this time of year sometimes it will be a weekday. In general if you can not reschedule your session fee will just go toward your next session.
As far as advance as you can. Especially during Summer and Fall. Those are my busiest times of the year and they book up very quickly. Beach sessions are limited because I only am there mid June until mid August so I recommend booking them at least two months In advance. Some clients are booking those In January each year.
