It’s officially Fall! Fall is my absolute favorite time of year. I just love everything about it. Bring on the sweaters, boots, cable knit blankets and everything pumpkin spice. Except pumpkin spice lattes. I know, I know. Everyone loves them, except for this girl. I can’t seem to like them no matter how much I try. I was going to have this post be about my favorite things for fall decor and fall clothing, but with this weather, I doubt anyone is ready to buy cozy blankets and sweaters. So, I will save that post for when the fall crispness appears in the air, hoping that will be next week.
Fall is also my busiest time of year, and I am so excited to be back in the swing of things this October. I just had my first fall session and I have numerous mini sessions scheduled along with two newborn sessions. I am not sure how I am going to juggle it all, but hopefully Ill figure it out sooner rather than later. I give major credit to all mothers, but especially to those with multiple children. I am still trying to figure out how to get it all done. There really isn’t enough time in the day.
Im going to miss my little sweet pea while I am working. I haven’t left her more then a few hours since she has been born. With Chase, I was back to work three days a week when he was twelve weeks old. She is definitely a momma’s girl. As much of a break I need at times, when I leave her, I instantly miss her. I think we both have seperation issues going on. Any other momma’s feel like this?
This fall has already been filled with two big things to celebrate for us. Our anniversary actually falls on the first day of fall, and this year we celebrated 10 years and our baby girl turned 10 months.
First of all, 10 months! Where did the last 10 months go. She has grown so much and her personality is just the absolute sweetest! She gets more and more of a personality everyday. She is standing, crawling and getting into everything. She is finally getting hair and has cut four more teeth. Liv doesn’t sleep well at all, but somehow is the happiest baby. She is always smiling and always giggling, especially when her big brother gives her attention. We are so blessed the she is ours.
Look at these little fingers. Ah, I just can’t get enough of her.
Now on to the big celebration this week. 10 YEARS! 10 YEARS! It’s funny I never could have predicted how our lives would be on our 10 year anniversary. We have been beyond blessed with two amazing little miracles, we are both pursuing careers we love, and we are still so in love with each other. I really couldn’t ask for much more. We have been through so much. There were definitely times that we almost didn’t make it, but we fought for each other and got through it. Happy Anniversary my love! Thank you for choosing me all those years ago.
You are my love story, and I
write you into everything I do,
everything I see, everything I touch,
and everything I dream,
you are the words that fill my pages.
