If I Could Photograph Anything

Travel

There is something so exciting about being asked, “If you could photograph anything right now, what would it be?” because honestly… I have a list a mile long. If you know me at all, you know I love to travel. Not just for vacation, but because I genuinely love documenting people and stories wherever I go. There is something so special about photographing memories in places that mean something to people — beach towns, cities, mountains, hometowns, lakes, little hidden spots full of nostalgia and history.

If I could travel for sessions once a month, it would absolutely be a dream. But outside of the sessions I normally photograph, these are some of the creative sessions constantly living in my head lately.

And if one of these sounds like you… please message me because I would LOVE to bring them to life. I could even offer a model session.

Backyard Nostalgia Mommy & Me Session

This one feels soft and emotional to me.

Vintage quilts in the grass. Linen dresses. Bare feet. Reading books together. Playing airplane. Piggyback rides. Catching fireflies. Crochet blankets. Warm sunset light. Slow moments. Snuggles.

The kind of session that feels like a memory before it even happens.

A Sailboat at Sunset Session

Golden light. Wind in your hair. Bare feet. Champagne popping. Soft movement from the water. Maybe it is a couple, maybe a family, maybe even branding photos. Just something effortless and cinematic out on the water while the sun drops behind the horizon.

Honestly… this one has my heart.

Coffee Shop City Branding Sessions

This one feels so effortlessly cool to me.

A cozy city coffee shop with big windows and natural light pouring in. Sitting at a corner table working on your laptop, answering emails, journaling ideas, or editing while sipping coffee. Walking city streets with your tote bag and camera or laptop in hand. Little in-between moments like fixing your blazer, laughing over coffee, typing away while music plays in the background, grabbing pastries at the counter, or sitting outside at a tiny café table watching the city move around you.

Very creative entrepreneur energy. Modern, elevated, and editorial while still feeling relaxed and authentic.

The kind of branding session that tells the story behind the person and not just the business.

Carnival / Boardwalk Couples Session

Okay hear me out… this one would be SO fun.

Think Carnival, Jolly Roger Amusement Park in OC, the Maryland State Fair, or somewhere along the Ocean City Boardwalk.

Cotton candy. Arcade games. Sharing fries. Riding the swings at sunset. Flash photos at night. Holding hands through crowds. A little chaotic, nostalgic, romantic, and playful all at once.

Honestly, this would work for families too, but I especially love it for couples who are total kids at heart.

Here is a little inspo if you want to see what I am thinking. Click here

“The Sound of Summer” Session

This one feels like childhood memories.

Running through sprinklers. Water balloons exploding everywhere. Popsicles dripping down little hands. Snowballs and ice cream. Dad cooking on the grill while kids run barefoot through the backyard. A tire swing. Messy wet hair. The kind of summer nights you wish you could bottle up forever.

Not overly posed. Just documenting the feeling of summer. INSPO

A True “Day in the Life” At Home Session

Not the perfectly cleaned house kind.

The real kind.

Making pancakes together. Reading books in bed. Jumping on the couch. Mom brushing little curls out of someone’s hair. Baking cookies. Dad making coffee while the kids play in the kitchen. Forts in the living room. Backyard soccer games. Snuggling on the couch before bedtime.

The kind of photos your kids will look back on one day and say, “That was home.”

Maryland-Inspired Sessions

The Maryland girl in me will always love these.

I grew up around horses, barns, the Eastern Shore, sunrise boat rides with my dad, catching crabs, all of it. Those memories feel so deeply rooted in home for me.

So I would LOVE sessions like:

  • A family with racehorses or a farm lifestyle
  • Early mornings at the barn feeding horses
  • Tack rooms and dusty boots and quiet moments before sunrise
  • A day at the races
  • Crabbing on the water
  • Fishing off a dock
  • Grandparents teaching grandkids how to fish
  • Old boats and salty air and stories passed down through generations

Those kinds of sessions feel timeless to me.

Bed & Breakfast Branding Sessions on the Shore

The Eastern Shore has some of the cutest little inns and bed & breakfasts, and I think documenting one would be such a dream project.

The details. The charm. Morning coffee being poured. Fresh flowers. Cozy bedding. Owners sharing their story. Guests on the porch at sunrise. Capturing not just the space, but the feeling people get when they stay there.

Day in the Life College Senior Session

Not just cap and gown photos.

I mean documenting someone’s actual college life before graduation.

Their favorite coffee shop. Walking to class. Studying in the library. Late-night pizza runs. Their team or sport. Hanging out with roommates. Campus traditions. Sitting on the football field one last time. The places that shaped them during those four years.

Because graduation is about so much more than the diploma.

“The Notebook” Inspired Session

Rain. A boat on a lake. Windy hair. Dancing in the rain. Long grass fields. Romantic, cinematic, emotional storytelling.

Not necessarily styled exactly like the movie The Notebook, but inspired by that feeling of timeless romance.

City Branding Sessions

Big office windows. Editorial vibes. Rooftops. Coffee shops. Structured blazers mixed with casual moments. Walking crosswalks with motion blur. Laptop shots that actually feel elevated and modern instead of stiff.

Think personal brand meets magazine editorial.

Prom Dresses in the City

This vision has lived in my head forever.

Big dramatic dresses against gritty city streets. Flash photography. Editorial posing. Taxi cabs. Parking garages. Rooftops. Motion blur. Wind catching the dress while the city lights glow behind them.

Very fashion-forward. Very cool-girl energy.

City Chic Couples

Dressed up for no reason other than it feels fun.

Walking downtown after dinner. Champagne at a rooftop bar. Flash photos outside a hotel. Black and white outfits. Laughing in crosswalks. A little classy, a little carefree, very cinematic. INSPO

Editorial Wedding Couple Sessions

Not replacing wedding day coverage — but creating space for the moments couples do not always get time for during the chaos of a wedding day.

Slow editorial portraits. Capturing details intentionally. Romantic movement. Veil shots. Quiet moments together. A field at sunset or a downtown rooftop after dark. Less rushed. More storytelling.

The kind of images that feel like art while still feeling like them.

Country Nights & Yellowstone-Inspired Sessions

This one feels straight out of a scene from Yellowstone.

A slow country night out on land somewhere. Horses in the background. A fire going while everyone gathers around in boots and denim. Cozy blankets tossed over shoulders. Someone playing guitar while everyone sings along. Kids running around catching fireflies while the adults sit around talking and laughing under string lights. Dusty trucks parked nearby. Maybe beers in hand, maybe marshmallows roasting, maybe just that quiet feeling of being completely present.

Not overly styled or perfect. Just warm, nostalgic, and real.

The kind of session that feels like summer nights, country music, and memories you never want to forget.

La Dolce Vita Session

Think Roman Holiday meets Italian summer. Vintage cars in pastel colors. Polka dot dresses. Silk scarves tied in your hair. Oversized sunglasses. Elegant heels clicking on cobblestone streets. Sitting effortlessly on the hood of a tiny vintage Fiat with a city skyline behind you. Espresso in hand. Wandering through quiet European streets at golden hour. A scarf blowing in the wind on the back of a Vespa. Luxury, romance, timeless glamour.

The kind of photos that feel like they belong in another era.

Editorial. Sophisticated. Feminine. A little playful. A little cinematic.

It feels like old money meets vintage travel diary. Like stepping into your own movie somewhere in Italy or the south of France—capturing style, confidence, and that dreamy feeling of being somewhere beautiful.

This big issue is with this one is not only finding a few woman that would love to do this but a location on the east coast or MD that will work. Any ideas? Let me know.

Inspo

At the end of the day, the sessions I dream about most are the ones that feel something. Nostalgic. Emotional. Playful. Messy. Romantic. Real. The kind of photos that make you remember not just what life looked like, but what it felt like.

So if any of these ideas sound like you — or if you have a completely different creative idea you have been wanting to bring to life — comment below or send me a message. I am always down for creating something different and meaningful together.
