From Seafood to Sweet Treats: The Best Eats in Ocean City Maryland

Nestled along the East Coast, Ocean City Maryland is a hidden gem for food enthusiasts looking to embark on a culinary journey like no other. I grew up spending my summers in this little beach town and look forward to being there with my little ones and photographing beach sessions each summer. I would be lying if I said I don’t look forward to our meals and sweet treats while we are there. Here are some of our favorite must visit places.

Ocean City’s Steamed Crabs

When it comes to Ocean City’s seafood delights, one cannot overlook the signature dish that the town is known for – mouthwatering steamed crabs. Ocean City’s seafood delights are a must-try for any visitor looking to experience the best of what the coastal town has to offer.

The Crab Bag could be my favorite place for steamed crabs and it is an all you can eat. It is also kid friendly and even though my little ones do not eat crabs they love their fried chicken and french fries. The Crab Bag is another option we love.

Seafood Delights

Italian and Pizza

Honestly it sounds strange but sometimes my family feels that there is nothing better then a day on the and finishing it off with a great Italian dinner or amazing pizza. If you are looking for fine dining our absolute favorite place is Ristorante Antipasti. From the moment you walk in the food smells amazing the the atmosphere is welcoming and the staff feels like family. From Appetizers to desserts everything is incredible. Their Ravioli and Gnocchi are my favorite. Another go to of mine is their Gamberoni alla Siciliana. Their filet rivals that of Ruth Chris. Their tiramisu is homemade and is a go to for us due to my daughters food allergies its helpful to know exactly what is in it.

Sello’s is also another favorite of my families. They have amazing brick oven pizza and french fries. One of our favorites is their jumbo lump crab meat appetizer. We also love their Papardelle alla Bolognese and Fiocchi Vodka.

Last but not least is Lombardi’s. I am pretty sure I spend most of my paycheck between here, Dumser’s and Candy Kitchen. Here we get classic cheese or pepperoni pizza but all of their food is wonderful. Their pizza is our go to while we are there.

Shotti’s Point is also a go to for fresh brick oven pizza. They also have wraps and salads that are so different and delicious.

Other Favorite Places

Coconuts Bar and Grille is practically home to us. I grew up with my parents beach house next to it and now we are very close by. So this is where you will find us frequently. Their food is great and they have activities for the kids, live music and refreshing drinks and a 2 for 1 happy hour. Better yet if you aren’t in the mood to pack a lunch for the beach head to their beach you can make a quick walk up to get carryout or they have service on the beach as well.

When we are with my mama we dine at Marlin Moon frequently. They are more on the fine dining side but rarley crowded and great food.

Barn 34 is a must for Breakfast! My kids ask for it multiple times a week.
